Scott Jahn, DC, CSCS, is a chiropractic kinesiologist and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Dr. Jahn began his chiropractic education after a ten year career in the health and fitness industry. It was there that he developed his philosophy of health and wellness. Dr. Jahn believes the achievement of optimal function can only come through honoring human form and function. True healing comes from within. We need to dispense with the “treatments” of suppressing our body’s natural functions (symptoms) or trying to artificially mimic its responses. It is this philosophy that Dr. Jahn uses with his patients.
Dr. Jahn, a native New Yorker, graduated Magna Cum Laude from Manhattan College with a B.S. in Sports Medicine as well as minors in biology, psychology and chemistry. He went on to study the art and science of chiropractic at the Southern California University of Health Sciences where he earned his doctorate. While there, Dr. Jahn served as both the vice-president and president of the Gonstead Technique Club as well as a member of the Applied Kinesiology and Sacro-Occipital Technique clubs. Dr. Jahn’s post graduation education has included over 1000 hours of Applied Kinesiology study where he has attained certification in knowledge and proficiency in basic Applied Kinesiology techniques.
Dr Jahn now lives and practices in Orange county, California. He approaches every patient with the belief that true health is attained from many sources and when the structural, biochemical and mental factors of each individual are in balance the body will achieve optimal health. |
